The national leader of Nigeria’s ruling Party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has revealed why he refused to back,
the incumbent governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode, for a second term because.
Tinubu that Ambode deviated from the master plan created for the development of the state.
Tinubu also accused Ambode, whom he supported in 2015, of alienating those who contributed so much to our development.
“Whenever a government departing from existing plan without [a] compelling reason, the state and its people will borne the painful consequence of the improper departure,” Tinubu said.
Tinubu, however, agreed that the said master plan may not have been perfect but it's directed to the development and the welfare of the state and it's people.
