Video shows corpse of woman clubbed to death with pestle by her husband being removed from their home in Anambra

A video has surfaced online showing the moment the dead body of a woman was removed from her home after she was clubbed to death with a pestle by her husband. James Nwogha, 34, is believed to
have killed his 30-year old wife, Jennifer Nwogha, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Number 2 Umudioka Street Ngbuka Nkpor, Idemili North Council Area. The suspect reportedly hit the deceased during an altercation between them. The couple who are blessed with five children - three boys and two girls - recently packed into the building where the tragedy occurred. According to reports from a neighbour, the couple lived peacefully and were into pap making business. They had just finished sieving pap at about 2 a.m. ahead of the following day's business when the wife went in to sleep and her husband soon followed with a pestle with which he hit her on the head. A video from the scene shows shocked neighbours gathered round as the body of the dead woman, wrapped in a blanket, was carried out of the house.

Police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect has been arrested and detained. Watch video from the crime scene below.
