The All Progressives Congress ( APC ) and some senators on Wednesday urged the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to resign from the position.
Saraki had on Tuesday dumped the APC for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and APC senators led by Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawan,
briefed State House correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to them, Saraki cannot run to another party with “the APC crown.”
